Wandering with Ginger 1

Wandering along  paths near home we come across some beautiful things.
I often feel the Creator watching as He shares the wonders found in every step I take.
Some are carefully placed in my path. Some are random growing naturally in the area.
I am always looking for the wonderful when wandering this planet.
It is a joy to discover the beauty when wandering with a friend.
Bring a friend. Enjoy the journey together.

Thankful for protectors

Searching out a path in this world, I look for the beauty and the positive things to be found.  I am ever thankful for those who will risk their lives to protect us. I always pray for no harm to come to anyone. Into the world we must live, I pray for harmony, peace and love to abound.

Fun or Just Donate??? OR BOTH???

Can't we just donate? or is it ok to have fun and donate too??? WELL... I actually see nothing wrong with either way... It has been fun seeing the antics with the Ice challenge, and I am joyful knowing the cause has gained support. ...Personally, I like my donations to be private... anonymous... and helpful. On the other hand, I do NOT see any problem with people having fun, a moment in the spotlight, or even just plane being silly to bring attention that would otherwise not be known to the masses. If it takes a pie in the face for cancer or a bunch of spilled ice for ALS, well so be it. Some people NEED a reason to be more motivated than others to be generous. That IS OK! The water on the ground will feed a plant, bird or animal, or just evaporate and once again fall as rain... the pie will feed ants that feed animals and the circle of life goes on. Seriously... how about we each consider helping in our own way. Much help has happened for MANY causes, BECAUSE of the silliness. Some ppl have donated to the original cause... others have donated to new causes they feel passionate about. Some would have donated anyway. Others not. Let us BE glad people are enjoying themselves, and also helping others. There is no need to whine anout people having fun... Drink your own water, eat your pie, give both away, or play with it... no matter to me.  If the product was purchased, it is yours to do with as you like.  All that ice was bought from someplace... Job security!  Look for the good!  Wow... how about this? We could ask "Wet and Wild" to close down, bottle all the water and send it off to Africa, or closer to home maybe some USA state that is in drought. Who needs to go to a water park? What a waste of time? Come on people, it is just as silly to think of that, as it is to say save the water/pie for some needy person in "the land of who knows where" who is in need... Have fun, enjoy the blessings you have, and share as you feel led... oh and if you want to help ppl who need water... Here is a great list of helpful groups for that cause... http://www.goodnet.org/articles/1000  and if you like to help feed people... Look here... http://gourmetfood.about.com/od/televisionforfoodies/tp/Charities-That-Fight-Hunger.htm  want to help in other ways??? just ask Google or any search engine for help to find where you may like to help! Be well, be loving, AND have fun!!!

Just a little Broken

I know I am just a little broken...

Just a Little Broken
c M. F. Wolfe

Perfect.
Ideal.
Excellent.
Worthy.

Unrealistic.
Impossible.
Unattainable.
Elusive.

Reaching.
Seeking.
Searching.
Striving.

Hidden.
Concealed.
Undisclosed.
Secret.

Often the broken is concealed. Not always.  Not from everyone.

Compassion.
Understanding.
Empathy.
Kindness.

Always I am just a little broken... human.

It seems there is always something new, something disturbing, and something else wonderful... Always something... keeping me on the edge of brokenness... living in a broken world looking for the beautiful.  I even find somethings that are broken are still more beautiful than words could ever describe.

As I look for the beautiful, all else fades.  Brokenness  no longer matters.

Storm choices

So many storms are part of every life. How we make it through is an individual choice. Sometimes a storm can be weathered by changing your path, turning around or just hunkering down... Even when all seems to be under the cloud, search for positive solutions.  Remember you are always loved... and after the storm, there is joy to be found...

Fire

carefully playing with fire
by Marjie Wolfe

Fire.

Fire is a complex double edged wonder.

Fire is warm and glowing, giving strength to our bodies and souls.
With fire we prepare food for our nourishment, food for our fun, food for our souls. With the warmth we are protected, from cold, and loneliness, and darkness.
The glow, gives light to the darkest times of our days, reminding me of the heart of Abba, always with us...
We are refined by fire, made holy and pure...

With care, we do not get burned, and often have the benefits without the pain.

Sometimes the pain is necessary.
Sometimes We are careless.

Fire destroys, fiercely and ferociously, making for new beginnings... purging the unwanted, unlovely, and evil in our lives.
Through this destruction can come good and new growth. The little new green sprouts come soon after a raging fire has cleared the way, here where we live...
They are quick to grow into new and wonderful beautiful things...

Even in the fire of pain, I carefully play.  I want the full benefit of God's raging passionate love.  If it takes walking through the fire to get it, I will continue to carefully play within the flames.  Everything I do, I want to be for the Glory of Abba who I love more than life itself.  He is with me always, and sends me through the fire when I need it. He holds me close through the flames to the other side.  Some times singed, sometimes scorched, always loved and protected from eternal harm. I do continue to fall and make mistakes.  The fire heads me back into His arms every time.  Then He holds me and heals me.

He is like a Fire, warm and loving, raging and refining, all because He loves me and you enough to teach us both about His great Love for us.

So... I carefully play with Fire... kindling the burning fire in my heart for Abba and His burning will for me...
